The square shape of this mug was achieved by first, throwing the mug on the pottery wheel, then using a flat edge tool to create flat sides, by hand.

During the glaze firing, the crystals grow in unique shapes and patterns. No two pieces will ever be the exact same, which makes each piece incredibly special!
Thomas' mugs are heavy-duty, so they are crafted to last. They are fired at such high temperatures that the glaze will not be tarnished/damaged by the dishwasher or microwave.
